I have always been a teacher in some capacity prior to entering elementary education here at Edward J. Briscoe, at UTA I was an art docent and visited local elementary schools to share insight into various works of art. I have trained new hires for Arlington Telecable and Telequestion Marketing. I taught art in the Clayton Afterschool Program for 4 years at Hubbard Heights Elementary, Christene C. Moss, Natha Howell and Glen Park Elementary. I taught classes for Painting With a Twist Hulen for 2 years and hosted adult and children's classes. I have always been teaching in some capacity throughout my career and am so excited to be teaching students at Edward J Briscoe because I want to share all of my art skills and knowledge with them and watch them grow artistically and creatively.

Education: I graduated from Emporia State with B.S. in Education with a major in Physical Education and Minor in Health.
I am excited to begin my 20th year as THE PE teacher at Briscoe. When Im not at school im usually watching my favorite sports teams (Chiefs/Braves/Jayhawks) or at the baseball field watching my stepson Levi play. I also enjoy spending time with my wife April who is the Art Teacher at McLean 6th grade center. Looking forward to another great year with the amazing students at Briscoe!
